Software, hardware, and tools I use.
This is a collection of the tools, hardware, and software I use daily for development, hosting, and managing my personal projects. From my work setup to the services I run at home, here’s everything that helps me stay productive and creative.
Workstation
Ubuntu 24.04 (Primary OS)
My primary operating system is Ubuntu 24.04, which I use for both work and personal projects. Its stability and flexibility make it ideal for development.
Dell Optiplex 3060 USFF, i3-8100T, 32GB RAM, 1TB SSD (Refurbished)
This compact machine runs the same Ubuntu 24.04 and hosts my internal media services like Jellyfin, Pihole, BitTorrent, Sonarr, Jackett, and Radarr. It’s my go-to solution for managing a completely "legal" library of movies and TV shows.
Coolify with Next.js and Tailwind
This website is hosted on a t4g.medium instance using Coolify, Next.js, and TailwindCSS. It’s a lightweight and flexible setup that powers my blog and other personal services.
t4g.medium Instance (AWS)
I host this website and other services on an AWS t4g.medium instance. It’s cost-effective, reliable, and performs well for multiple lightweight workloads.
Development tools
Visual Studio Code
My favorite code editor for development. The extensions and ecosystem make it the perfect tool for programming in Python, JavaScript, and more.
zsh with Starship Prompt
I use zsh as my terminal shell, customized with Starship for a modern, fast, and minimal prompt. It keeps my terminal both functional and visually appealing.
Media Services
Jellyfin
My go-to open-source media server for streaming my personal library of movies and TV shows across devices.
Sonarr, Radarr, Jackett, and BitTorrent
These tools work together to automate and manage my collection of TV shows and movies seamlessly, ensuring everything is organized and accessible.
Pihole
A network-wide ad blocker that keeps my browsing experience clean and fast while also acting as a DNS server for my local network.
